IE does support Portable Network Graphics (PNG) files and the net as well. Could you re-phrase your question? If your refering to how graphics show differently on different browsers and versions, then yes sometimes they do depending on numberous factors.

In IE 6 it looks the same which I would expect with your script/codeof:

<body BACKGROUND="fondo5.gif">

Are you trying to rotate the look of the background or have it look the same in all browsers and versions?

I did that but it was not good at all.
What I'm goint to do by now is to change the background of each buttons for the same color of the page background.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Its not what you use to make the page, its what you code is and graphics you made it out of. i.e. don't use png. Use gif's. If your question is can you convert it from png to gif then yes.

Sorry if you did not understood what I meant,because of my bad english.
I tried to change from png to jpg and then change the background of the button with the same color of the page background,it almost worked in all of them, but some of them got ugly.
I'm going to try it aging with PS.Lets see what come out.

thanks a lot for your time.

IE does support PNGs but does not support alpha-channels in PNGs. An alpha-channel is the bit of a graphic that gives it a partial transparancy (like a drop-shadow effect). You can use a gif to get a full transparancy for part of a graphic but not partial transparencies.

It's a shame really because PNGs have been around for a long time, and were designed specifically to make alpha-channels possible with small file sizes for web use. It's a case of unusual slackness on the part of the IE developers for not bothering to build in support for PNG alpha-channels.

Thanks a lot for the information,that was very useful.I did not know that,all I knew was that IE
