I recently installed Apple's X11...

How can I start running Linux... or to be more specific, GTK and Qt-based programs on OS X?

thanks,

if you know what your doing you can download the source files then compile them, or get fink etc to do it for you.

you can then obvoiusly then as in linux type the path to the program to start it.

or you can double click it if you so wish.

I tried that a while ago.

Doesn't work tho. I can get to run X Server programs, but not GTK or Qt ones.

I used Fink, and it downloads and compiles everything, but no luck.
