Put both PC's on a LAN (local area network). Use a hub/switch and network cards.

For educational purpose?

So you want to learn how to hack your own pcs but will never use it on anyone else's?

Or you want to learn on your systems so you can hack others?

Sounds like you are saying after you earn you will never use it again Laughing

And when you do want to "apply" some of that newly acquired knowledge, use dial-up. Get a free account at some isp. Since it's free they don't charge you so they don't need your correct data. Wink

Or if the machines are physicaly close enough, skip the hub and use a crossover cable beteween the two.

The cross over cable is very nice for going between my main box and my webserver.
And its' cheaper then messing with a hub for now.

Opps, my bad, I thought you were talking about the word "hacking" in general. Not exactly in breaking into a computer, or somebody else computer.

Hey, I never said that you were wasting time,or something.I just said that becuase I dont have another computer, and still you can learn a lot.And personally I better take more time getting knowledge in defending than attacking. After all I think protecting is harder than attacking.Think so. Very Happy
