Hi,
I am a layman in networking and struggling with the basics..
I am having this problem and need a clue.
I have a broadband connection (the provider has given me a router to get to the network).. Since 2-3 days I get an error saying "SVCHost.exe has encountered an error which cannot be recovered".
After this error, the network connection is broken.
When I do an ipconfig, I can see no ip address, subnet mask values for my provider's ppp adapter. (I mean I see 0.0.0.0 etc values)
So I want to know which process must be responsible for this error, which has resulted in the SVCHost breaking down and connection getting lost. The error doesn't give any process information.
Any clues as to how to get the real cause of this problem?
