Hi Guys,
So, I've been asked to grant third party, external vendor access to a selection of our Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, scattered around various OU's in our Directory. I thought I'd throw this out to you learned guys to see what kind of things you do to make this as secure as possible. How do you all play this one? Local machine accounts only, or AD accounts with restriction on which box they can log on to? Any recommended, specialized, vendor GPO settings you guys implement? Any hints and tips appreciated.
They'll be logging in for remote support. They won't need access to any machines other than the one they're logged into, but will need local administrator level permissions.
