Hi everyone,

The domain controller at one of our customers has failed and I was able to recover the "Exchsrvr" folder. Is there by any means a way to restore exchange using this folder?

I am on Windows server 2003 SBS.

Thanks

Another question:
If the users already have the emails from the exchange server ie: when they open Outlook they can still check their old emails. Will the emails be gone the next time they syncronise with the newly installed exchange server?

For working with corrupted or lost edb files you may use next tools. They are able to demonstrate the results of recovering. The programs don't modify source data of edb files during repairing. They can work with big edb files and with all Windows OS

I suggest you visit msexchange.org - http://www.msexchange.org/search.asp?s=Exchsrvr or post the problem there!
