    ----
ZoneAlarm free firewall and been happily running on my computer for a couple of years now. I found that they are selling their Pro version with id theft protection and their new anti-spyware for $30.

Zonealarm seems like a good company and the firewall is good so I think their antispyware should be good, correct?

ZoneAlarm is a great piece of software.

I use Comodo Firewall on my personal Windows systems. ZoneAlarm's "DefenseNet" is similar to Comodo's "ThreatCast" which correlates other firewall activity and provides a rating/suggestion on a certain firewall event.

Their anti-spyware module should be fine. I would demo it first. Look for things such as signature updates and performance. Placing it in a demo virtual workstation is the best way to test. Try to get infected and see how it protects. Comodo has a antivirus module in their Internet Security app, but it does not perform well.

Besides the extra perks with the pro version, do they offer anything else like more frequent updates or support?

Thanks, Core Defend
