I'm looking for a freeware (not shareware) IE filtering app that can be easily turn on or off (By non computer person) for 9x or xp. Idea's?

All I've found is shareware and commercial ware.

Best to use something like dansguardian on an old linux machine with a squid proxy.

I doubt you'll find anything reasonably good for Win 9x or XP, especially for free.
