I'm getting mail returned that I never sent out, and it's obvious that a robot is using my email account to spam people. (some are in my address book, some not.)

I'm using an imac G4, 10.2.8 with Eudora
and
a G5, 10.3.6 Both are connected through a router to a cable modem.

I've done the latest Apple security updates and turned firewalls on and all sharing off, but I've only done this since the problem came up.

What can I do now?

Thanks

You haven't been hacked. Someone is just spoofing their headers with your email address, and sending out spam or what not.

When the recipient of their spam doesn't exist, or bounces it back for whatever reason, it goes to your box instead of the original sender because of the spoofed header.

They aren't using your system at all, just your email address, so you're safe, nothing is hacked or compromised.
