anyone know how to open up ports on a router?

type in your routers ip address into the address bar and see if it responds, if it does try "admin" "admin" for user/pass.

Need the brand and model of the router. If it is your router you should have that information available to you in the user manual or at their website.

That's right...
And does your router have a Web Interface you can connect to?
It would be much easier that way, than via CLI.
