A quick question, I'm running replication using the DFS system. I have about 400GB of data replicated so far but when I back up what I have through ntbackup... says I only have 66GB? Right click the same folder properties and it states 400GB. Is this the proper way to backup via DFS?

sounds strange.

I've never run into that before but I have had DFS change some share contents to archived and / or hidden system files so a surface backup might have missed them that way.

Not having used NTBackup in about half a decade, I'm rusty on the specifics of it. is there any settings for hidden and system files? Has the service account got sufficient permissions to access all the data?
