Hi, i am newish person, i install exchange 2003, i am using all default setting of exchange, in LAN all things going smooth, we are using POP and SMTP to excess or using the mail service, we have a mail server outside like mail.example.com, my organization want to send or receive the mail from exchange in this mail.example.com. We have DSL cable connection to excess the internet, not using public IP, we have windows 2003 enterprise server, active directory, exchange install in this computer. In LAN, DNS is domain.com, not registered with IANA. I don't have any idea about how to use connectors and routing features of exchange, Please help, Thanks in advance .....
There are a lot of things you need to learn about. First, you need to get a public IP address, and then get a domain name from a Registrar. There's a lot more invovled, though. You might want to get a consultant to come in and help you with this and have him teach you the basics.
