I have Dell 2850 running Server 2003. It has 5 Disks 2x on Raid 1 (OS) and 3x on RAID 5. Recently I had a power outrage and my server went off. When I turned it back one of disk on RAID 5 went bad and I lost my partitions. Whole RAID 5 drives are shown as Free Space. I have replaced the faulty HDD and it has written data successfully on it.
The Free space size shown is of 2x drives but on RAID configuration it shows RAID 5 and is online.
I hope someone out there have understood my problem and can help. No partition recovery software has worked.
